MEMPHIS, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Memphis Coach John Calipari became the school's winningest coach with 221 victories with the Tigers' 80-58 rout Monday of Massachusetts.

Antonio Anderson scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, freshman Tyreke Evans scored 19 points and Robert Dozier hit 18 for Memphis (2-0).

Tony Gaffney had 19 rebounds and 16 points and Ricky Harris added 17 points for UMass (1-2).

The game put Calipari one game ahead of former Memphis coach Larry Finch, who led the the Tigers from 1986-97. Calipari, who coached Massachusetts from 1988-96, has coached Memphis since the state of the 2000-01 season.

The Tigers took the win despite shooting 39 percent from the field and making only 2- of-19 three-pointers. UMass was 30 percent from the field and made 5-of-24 three-pointers.
