SACRAMENTO, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan made two late baskets Sunday night to give the San Antonio Spurs a 90-88 win over Sacramento.
John Salmons led all scorers with 31 points and Beno Udrih scored 16 for the Kings, who lost their second straight game. Brad Miller finished with 10 points and eight rebounds and had a chance to tie the game in the closing seconds but missed from the right side.
The Kings led 86-84 after Salmons hit a jumper with less than three minutes to go. Finley's basket a minute later tied it at 86-86.
The Kings went up by two when Udrih sank a pair of free throws but the Spurs tied it when Duncan scored from the paint -- and Duncan then followed a Kings miss with a layup to make it 90-88 with jut over 10 seconds remaining.
