NHL: Chicago 6, Calgary 1

CHICAGO, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Chicago's Martin Havlat and Aaron Johnson scored first-period goals Sunday and the Blackhawks cruised to a 6-1 victory over the Calgary Flames.

The Blackhawks scored the first three goals of the game, yielded one to Calgary in the third period and then posted three more en route to their fourth win in a row.

Havlat and Patrick Kane each finished with a goal and two assists in the one-sided contest. Jonathan Toews, Kris Versteeg and Troy Brouwer got the other three Chicago goals.

Cristobal Huet made 22 saves for Chicago.

Dustin Boyd scored for the Flames. Flames goalie Miikka Kiprusoff, who gave up all the Blackhawks' goals, also blocked 22 shots.
