FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Scoring runs by Matt Cassel and Benjarvus Green-Ellis Sunday keyed the New England Patriots' 20-10 AFC East win over the Buffalo Bills.

Cassel was 23-of-34 passing for 234 yards and no touchdowns, but used his legs to score on a 13-yard run in the first quarter.

Green-Ellis scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter and finished with a career-high 105 yards on 26 carries.

Placekicker Stephen Gostkowski booted two field goals, and the Patriots defense held Buffalo to 168 total yards.

New England (6-3) has won three of its last four outings and is tied with the New York Jets atop the division.

Quarterback Trent Edwards completed just 13-of-23 passes for 120 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the Bills' third straight loss.

Wide receiver James Hardy caught Edwards' late fourth quarter touchdown pass but finished with two receptions for 21 yards for the Bills (5-4), who have dropped four of five.
