NBA: New Orleans 100, Miami 89

NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Chris Paul had 21 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds Saturday to lead the New Orleans Hornets in a 100-89 victory over the Miami Heat.

Paul set an NBA record by recording at least 20 points and 10 assists in all six games this season. Oscar Robertson had the old mark of five in a row to start the 1968 campaign with Cincinnati.

David West also scored 21 points and had nine rebounds for the Hornets. Tyson Chandler added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Dwyane Wade had 30 points and 10 assists for the Heat. Chris Quinn added 14 points.
