NHL: N.Y. Islanders 4, Columbus 3 (OT)

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- The New York Islanders blew a three-goal lead in the third period Monday but Chris Campoli scored in overtime for a 4-3 win over Columbus.

Campoli scored twice Monday and Richard Park and Bill Guerin had the other goals for the Islanders, who halted a six-game losing streak.

Mike Comrie and Trent Hunter each had two assists for the Islanders, who beat Columbus for just the second time in nine all-time meetings.

New York's Joey MacDonald, playing in the absence of injured Rick DiPietro, made 31 stops.

R.J. Umberger had two goals and Marc Methot had the other goal for the Blue Jackets, who lost for the fifth time in six games. Columbus goalie Fredrik Norrena made 25 saves.
