COL FB: California 26, Oregon 16

BERKELEY, Calif., Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Nate Longshore had 136 yards and a touchdown on 13-of-27 passing Saturday to lead California to a 26-16 win over No. 24 Oregon.

Longshore came on for starter Kevin Riley, who left after getting shaken up on a hit in the first quarter. Riley was 7-for-12 for 80 yards, with one TD and an interception for the Bears (6-2, 4-1 Pac-10), who have won four of their last five games.

Jahvid Best rushed for 93 yards and Shane Vereen had 61 yards and a TD for California.

Jeremiah Johnson led the Oregon rushing attack with 117 yards and one TD and Jeremiah Masoli ran for 97 yards and a TD for the Ducks (6-3, 4-2).
