NHL: Anaheim 6, Montreal 4

MONTREAL, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Chris Kunitz scored the game-winning goal Saturday night when the Anaheim Ducks downed the Montreal Canadiens 6-4.

Anaheim has won three in a row after losing five of their first six games.

Kunitz's goal at 4:40 of the second period snapped a 3-3 tie and put Anaheim in front for good. He also assisted on Ryan Getzlaf's first period tally.

Three other Anaheim players had one goal. Scott Niedermayer had two assists, while Ducks goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 47 saves on 51 shots.

Montreal left wing Alex Tanguay scored twice. Tom Kostopoulos and Saku Koivu had one goal apiece.

Jaroslav Halak started in net and allowed four goals on just 12 shots. His replacement in the second period was Carey Price, who surrendered two goals on 13 shots for the Canadiens, who had won five in a row.

On the power play, Montreal was 1-for-6 and Anaheim was 2-for-3.
