ORCHARD PARK, N.Y., Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Buffalo's Trent Edwards passed for 261 yards and a touchdown Sunday in a 23-14 win over the San Diego Chargers.
The Bills raised their record to 5-1 for the first time in 13 years in a game interrupted by power outages that knocked out clocks and instant replay.
Edwards was 25-of-30 passing. His touchdown pass was a 2-yarder to Lee Evans, who finished with eight receptions.
Marshawn Lynch ran for 70 yards and a score for the Bills, whose only loss came at Arizona last week.
Philip Rivers completed 22 passes for 208 yards and two touchdowns but was picked off on a pass in scoring territory for the Chargers (3-4).
Malcolm Floyd and Vincent Jackson caught Rivers' scoring passes.
