ST. LOUIS, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Brad Boyes kept St. Louis' offense hot Thursday with a goal and an assist that helped send St. Louis rolling past Dallas 6-1.

The Blues have won three of their first four games this season and they have scored at least five goals in each of the victories.

Eric Brewer, Keith Tkachuk, Yan Stastny, Steve Wagner and Jay McKee all scored for St. Louis, which has produced some unexpected offense after averaging just 2.5 goals per game last season.

Manny Legace stopped all 22 shots he faced over the first two periods. Dallas goaltender Marty Turco, who has struggled early in the season, allowed five goals on just 18 shots. He was eventually removed for Tobias Stephan, who let in one in five shots.

Fabian Brunnstrom, who produced a hat trick for Dallas in his NHL debut on Wednesday, was held scoreless on four shots.
