ATLANTA, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- The Atlanta Falcons upended the Chicago Bears 22-20 Sunday with a desperation drive capped by a 48-yard Jason Elam field goal as time expired.
The winning kick, Elam's fifth field goal of the contest, finished off a drive that started with just 11 seconds to play and Chicago leading 20-19.
Elam had missed a field goal attempt a few minutes earlier but his game-winner upped Atlanta's record to 4-2.
Ryan passed for 301 yards and hit receiver Roddy White for a touchdown.
White totaled 112 yards on nine receptions.
Kyle Orton completed 26-of-43 passes for 286 yards and a touchdown for the Bears (3-3).
Rookie Chicago running back Matt Forte carried 20 times for 76 yards and a score, and Devin Hester caught six passes for 87 yards.
