Reports: Adam Jones in hotel incident

IRVING, Texas, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Dallas Cowboys defensive back Adam Jones was involved in an altercation at a local hotel, media outlets reported Wednesday night.

The Dallas Morning News and KTVT Channel 11, the CBS television affiliate in Fort Worth, reported Jones got into a fight with one of his security guards at the Joule Hotel in Dallas, damaging a bathroom.

Dallas Deputy Chief Vince Golbeck told the newspaper he thought Jones was staying at the hotel and may have been drinking, but no police report was filed.

"At this point, I can tell you that I'm not satisfied that anything occurred," Jones' attorney, Worrick Robinson, told ESPN.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Jones for the 2007 season for violating the league's personal conduct policy while he played for the Tennessee Titans.

Jones was involved in several incidents in his previous two NFL seasons, including a possible involvement in a shooting at a Las Vegas strip club during the NBA's All-Star weekend in February 2007.
