NORMAN, Okla., Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Sam Bradford passed for 411 yards and four touchdowns Saturday to lead the second-ranked Oklahoma Sooners in a 35-10 pasting of No. 23 TCU.
Bradford completed 19-of-34 passes, three to Manuel Johnson for touchdowns of 76, 55 and 63 yards. Johnson finished with five catches for an Oklahoma record 206 yards.
The Sooners (4-0) figure take over the No. 1 ranking in the country since top-ranked Southern California was upset Thursday by Oregon State.
TCU (4-1) had yielded a total of 31 points in four games, but the Sooners scored 28 in the first half. Oklahoma had 222 yards in the first quarter, more than any TCU opponent had produced in an entire game.
