COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Terrelle Pryor accounted for three touchdowns Saturday, keying 13th-ranked Ohio State's 34-21 win over Minnesota.
The heralded 6-foot-6 freshman quarterback opened the scoring with a 33-yard touchdown dash with 12:47 left in the first quarter.
Later, he scored on a 1-yard, third-quarter run, and threw a touchdown pass on the first play of the fourth quarter.
Overall, Pryor passed for 70 yards and ran for 97 yards on eight rushing attempts.
Running back "Beanie" Wells gained 106 yards on 14 attempts in his first game back from a foot injury and wide receiver Brian Robiskie scored twice after making eight receptions for the Buckeyes (4-1, 1-0 Big Ten), who raised their overall record to 41-7 against Minnesota.
Minnesota quarterback Adam Weber completed 23 of 36 passes for 187 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
DeLeon Eskridge gained 76 yards on 18 carries and added eight receptions for 55 yards for the previously unbeaten Golden Gophers (4-1, 0-1).
