DENVER, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Jay Cutler threw two touchdown passes Sunday and Denver withstood a fourth quarter rally to capture a 34-32 win over New Orleans.
He completed 21 of 34 passes for 264 yards with 1 interception and his 35-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Marshall gave Denver a 14-3 lead with 27 seconds left in the first quarter.
Overall, he completed 21 of 34 passes with 1 interception.
Selvin Young ran for 65 yards on 11 carries.
Michael Pittman scored on a 2-yard third quarter run, and Marshall finished with six receptions for 155 yards for the Broncos, off to 3-0 start for the 10th time in franchise history.
New Orleans was led by Drew Brees' 39 of 48 passing for 421 yards and 1 touchdown.
Reggie Bush rushed for 1 touchdown and caught another while gaining 163 all-purpose yards, and fellow running back Pierre Thomas scored twice for the Saints (1-2).
