Two others had one RBI.

A run scored on a fielding error by Emilio Bonifacio in the fifth, but no player had more than one hit in the Padres' second win in a row.

They made the most of seven hits and a second Washington error led to two runs in eighth.

Washington averted a shutout on Aaron Boone's eighth inning double.

Three others had one hit in the Nationals' fourth loss in a row.

Losing pitcher John Lannan (9-14) surrendered four runs -- one earned -- and four hits in seven innings with three walks and five strikeouts.
