COL FB: Penn State 45, Temple 3

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Stephfon Green rushed for 132 yards Saturday in the 15th-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions' 45-3 romp over the Temple Owls.

Green was part of a 303-yard rushing attack for Penn State (4-0). Evan Royster ran for 73 yards and each quarterback Daryll Clark completed 13 of 20 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns.

Temple quarterback Adam DiMechele injured his right shoulder on Temple's first series. His replacement, Chester Stewart, had three interceptions on 16-of-30 passing for 116 yards and suffered six sacks.

The Owls had just 16 net rushing yards and 138 total yards to Penn State's 546 yards of total offense.
