DENVER, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- The Denver Broncos reportedly shipped backup wideout Keary Colbert to the Seattle Seahawks Tuesday in exchange for a 2009 draft choice.
The Denver Post and The Seattle Times both reported the trade.
The Broncos had signed Colbert as a free agent from the Carolina Panthers on a three-year, $7.2 million contract. But Colbert, who caught 32 passes for for 332 yards last year for Carolina, hasn't had a reception this season.
The Times also reported Seattle added wide receiver Koren Robinson.
Robinson caught 78 passes for 1,240 yards and five touchdowns in 2002 and had 65 catches and 896 yards in 2003. But he also was suspended for four games, benched for another and released after being arrested for a DUI in 2003.
He was arrested the following year while with Minnesota and suspended for the entire season. Robinson played two seasons for Green Bay in 2006-2007, but caught only 28 passes for 330 yards for the Packers.
