DENVER, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Troy Tulowitzki's 10-inning single produced the only run Sunday in Colorado's 1-0 win over the LA Dodgers.
Tulowitski's only hit in the game followed singles by Matt Holliday, Garrett Atkins and pinch-hitter Ryan Spilborghs with one out in the bottom of the 10th against losing pitcher Hong-Chih Kuo (5-3).
Atkins had two of the six hits for the Rockies, who broke their seven-game losing streak.
Starter Aaron Cook gave up eight hits in eight scoreless innings.
The winning pitcher was Manny Corpas (3-3).
Los Angeles was led by Angel Berroa's two hits. Six others had one hit apiece for the NL West-leading Dodgers, whose lead over Arizona held at 4 1/2 games after the Diamondbacks suffered a 2-1 10-inning loss to the Cincinnati Reds.
Dodgers' starter Greg Maddux took a perfect game into the fifth, and overall, yielded two hits in seven innings.
The Dodgers played without hot-hitting right fielder Andre Ethier, who was attending to the birth of his first child.
