PEBBLE BEACH, Calif., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Jeff Sluman became the seventh two-time 2008 winner on the Champions Tour Sunday with a five-shot victory in the Wal-Mart First Tee Open in Pebble Beach, Calif.

The 50-year-old Sluman closed with a 5-under-par 67 for an overall score of 14-under 202.

Fuzzy Zoeller (69) and Craig Stadler (71) tied for second at 207. Chip Beck (68), Mark McNulty (69), Fred Funk (71) and Phil Blackmar (73) shared fourth place at 8-under 208.

Sluman, a six-time winner on the PGA Tour, got his first Champions Tour win at the Bank of America Championship in Concord, Mass., in June.

"I'm just happy to be playing the golf I had hoped to play coming out here," said Sluman, in his first year on the 50-and-over tour. "It's been a struggle, but I've worked hard. Golf is a game of ebbs and flows and things are going well right now."
