PEBBLE BEACH, Calif., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Loren Roberts birdied the 18th hole Saturday to remain tied for the lead after two rounds of the Champions Wal-Mart First Tee Open in California.
Roberts had a 3-under 69 to finish 36 holes at 9-under 135, where he was tied with Phil Blackmar (68), Jeff Sluman (66) and John Harris (66).
With two courses in use this week, Harris was the only co-leader who did not play Saturday at Pebble Beach, which will play host to the final round.
Craig Stadler (66), who won this title in 2004, is one shot off the lead.
Both the first and second rounds were completed Saturday after play at Pebble Beach was delayed several times Friday because of fog.
