Scott Simpson, who led at the outset of the final round, shot a 71 and finished second at 204. John Cook closed with a 67 for third place at 205.

The win was Kite's 10th on the 50-and-over tour. His previous victory came in the same tournament in 2006.

"That sure was fun today," Kite said. "After two years you start wondering if you'll win again. This feels really, really good."

Kite won $255,000.
