Olympic Medal: M 80kg Taekwondo

BEIJING, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Hadi Saei of Iran won the Olympic gold medal Friday in the 80-kilogram class of men's taekwondo.

Mauro Sarmiento of Italy took the silver. Bronze medals went to Steven Lopez of the United States and Zhu Guo of China.

Iran became the 51st country to win a gold medal in the Beijing Olympics.
