MLB: Toronto 14, N.Y. Yankees 3

TORONTO, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Marco Scutaro's four RBI and nine-strikeout pitching by Roy Halladay Thursday led the Toronto Blue Jays to a 14-3 blitz of the New York Yankees.

Scutaro had four of Toronto's 21 hits and scored three runs. Alex Rios and Matt Stairs each had three RBI for the Blue Jays.

Halladay (15-9) allowed three runs and five hits in seven innings.

Hideki Matsui belted a three-run home run for New York, which has dropped four of its last seven games.

Losing pitcher Sidney Ponson (7-4) was battered for seven runs and eight hits in two-plus innings.
