Peter Hanson sole leader at Stockholm

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- A 2-under-par 68 in Saturday's third round was good enough to make Sweden's Peter Hanson the leader at the European Tour's Scandinavian Masters.

Hanson thrilled a partisan crowd in Stockholm with his recovery from a bogey at the third hole, three birdies and eight straight pars from 8-15.

His 54-hole total -- a 10-under 200 -- leads a group of five golfers by two strokes heading into Sunday's closing round.

Hanson shared the lead after both of the first two rounds, as well.

"Of course you can feel pressure playing at home, but I think it's more inspirational," Hanson told reporters. "If I win tomorrow, I'll change my mind about taking next week off. I want to give myself every chance. It's always hard when you don't get that many really good birdie opportunities."

Nick Dougherty (70), Daniel Chopra (67), Pelle Edberg (66), Soren Kjeldsen (68) and Gary Orr (67) all share second place at 8-under 202.
