BEIJING, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Australia won the Olympic gold medal Sunday in the women's 400-meter medley relay in Beijing.

The United States took the silver and China grabbed the bronze.

The Australian team of Emily Seebohm, Leisel Jones, Jessicah Schipper and Lisbeth Trickett set a world record of 3:52.69.
