LOS ANGELES, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Chad Billingsley went a strong seven innings and Casey Blake had a homer and two RBI Friday night to lead the LA Dodgers past Milwaukee 5-3.
Billingsley (12-9) allowed three runs on seven hits, while walking two and striking out five.
Blake finished with three hits, including his 15th homer -- a two-run shot that tied the game at 3-3 in the fourth. Jeff Kent drove in the decisive run with an RBI single in the fifth.
Russell Martin homered and scored twice and Manny Ramirez drove in a run for the Dodgers, who won their fifth straight game.
Jonathan Broxton got the final four outs to ring up his ninth save.
Brewers' starter Manny Parra (9-6) took the loss, going 5 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on 10 hits with one walk and six strikeouts.
Gabe Kapler had two hits, including a home run, and drove in two for the Brewers, who have lost two straight games following an eight-game winning streak.
