BEIJING, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- American Tyson Gay, who suffered a hamstring injury during the U.S. Olympic trials, said Monday he is fully recovered.
Gay ran the fastest 100 meters in history at the trials, although it won't go into the record book because it was wind-aided, and then pulled up during the running of the 200-meter finals. He is the current world champion in both events but will compete only in the 100 in Beijing.
