MLB: Milwaukee 7, Washington 1

MILWAUKEE, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Corey Hart hit a two-run homer and Craig Counsell had a two-run double Monday to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 7-1 win over the Washington Nationals.

Rickie Weeks also homered for the Brewers, who have won six games in a row. Milwaukee has outscored its opponents 37-9 during the winning streak.

Milwaukee's Dave Bush (7-9) gave up one run on five hits with two walks and six strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.

Garrett Mock (0-3) suffered his third loss in as many starts this year. He was charged with four runs on five hits with three walks but had a career-high nine strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.

Ryan Zimmerman drove in the lone run for the Nationals.
