MLB: Seattle 7, Texas 5

ARLINGTON, Texas, July 29 (UPI) -- Adrian Beltre hit two home runs Monday to power the Seattle Mariners to a 7-5 victory over the Texas Rangers.

Beltre hit a three-run homer in the first inning and homered again in the eighth. Bryan LaHair was 2-for-3 with his first major league home run and Raul Ibanez had two hits, two runs and an RBI for Seattle.

Sean Green (3-3) got the win for recording the final out in the seventh. Brandon Morrow got his 10th save of the season with a scoreless ninth.

Ian Kinsler had two doubles with two runs scored and an RBI, David Murphy drove in two runs, and Milton Bradley added two hits and an RBI for Texas, which stranded 11 base-runners.

Frank Francisco (2-3) was the loser after allowing one run on two hits over two innings.
