SAN FRANCISCO, July 27 (UPI) -- The Golden State Warriors have reached agreement with center Andris Biedrins on a six-year deal for $63 million, reports said Sunday.

Biedrins' agent, Bill Duffy, said in a San Francisco Chronicle report the 22-year-old player was "absolutely thrilled" with the contract.

Biedrins, a 6-foot-11 Latvian who averaged 10.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game for the Warriors last season, apparently had been considering offers from some European teams.

Both the Chronicle and ESPN said Biedrins is expected to sign the agreement Monday.

The Warriors Thursday signed guard Monta Williams to a six-year, $67 million contract, the Chronicle said.
