INDIANAPOLIS, July 16 (UPI) -- Second-seeded Gilles Simon moved into the quarterfinals at the Indianapolis Tennis Championships Wednesday with a three-set win over Benjamin Becker.
Simon stormed through the deciding set for a 7-5, 3-6, 6-0 triumph to set up a quarterfinal meeting with Tommy Haas.

Haas breezed past John Isner 6-3, 6-4.
Paul Capdeville also advanced with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Joseph Sirianni. Dmitry Tursunov moved on when Wayne Odesnik had to withdraw with a bad back.
Top-seeded James Blake will be in action Thursday against Jun Woong-Sun.
