PITTSBURGH, July 13 (UPI) -- Aaron Miles homered and drove in five runs for St. Louis Sunday in an 11-6 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Miles ripped a three-run homer in the fourth inning and a two-run triple during a four-run, ninth-inning rally that erased a one-run deficit and put the Cards on top 9-6.

Troy Glaus hit a home run and double for two RBI, and Ryan Ludwick added a solo homer for St. Louis.
Pittsburgh's Chris Gomez hit a two-run double and scored a run.
Russ Springer (2-0) retired just one batter but got the win in relief of Joel Pineiro, who allowed six runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings.
Franquelis Osoria (3-3) took the loss.
