BOSTON, July 13 (UPI) -- J.D. Drew and Dustin Pedroia drove in runs for the Boston Red Sox Sunday in a 2-1 victory over Baltimore, which has lost eight of its last nine games.
Drew doubled in a run in the first inning and Pedroia, who had two hits in the game, was credited with the other on a fielder's choice in the fourth.
Aubrey Huff singled in a run during a ninth-inning Baltimore rally that fell short.
Daisuke Matsuzaka (10-1) allowed just four hits over six innings in Boston's fifth win in seven contests.
Loser Daniel Cabrera (6-5) worked 4 1/3 innings, allowing two runs and six hits.
