Atkins hit a three-run homer as part of a four-run second inning, Tulowitzki had a two-run shot in the third and Torrealba contributed a solo blast in the eighth.

That allowed Ubaldo Jimenez (3-8) to coast to a victory. He gave up a run on five hits over 6 1/3 innings.

After scoring a season-high 15 runs to open the series, the Padres managed only one over the next two games.
