TORONTO, June 24 (UPI) -- Scott Rolen had a homer and four RBI Tuesday when Toronto scored six runs in the first inning and five runs in the second to rout Cincinnati 14-1.
Every Blue Jays starter had a hit by the fifth inning with Toronto totaling a season-high 22. Eight Blue Jays had an RBI and a run scored.
Marco Scutaro and Alex Rios each had four hits, Lyle Overbay went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, Gregg Zaun homered and had three RBI.
A.J. Burnett (7-7) gave up one run on four hits, seven strikeouts and three walks in eight innings.
Bronson Arroyo (4-7) lost in the shortest outing of his career, going only one-plus inning and giving up 10 runs on 11 hits.
Brandon Phillips was the only Reds player to have a multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 and scoring the only run for Cincinnati, which has dropped lost seven of its last nine games.
