MIAMI, June 24 (UPI) -- Dioner Navarro and Eric Hinske had RBI walks in the eighth inning Tuesday to hand the Tampa Bay Rays a 6-4 inter-league victory over the Florida Marlins.

Joe Nelson came on in the eighth with the bases loaded and none out. He got two outs but walked Navarro to tie the game and then gave Hinske a pass to give the Rays a 4-3 lead. Tampa Bay added a pair of runs in the top of the ninth on Evan Longoria's two-out, two-run double to make it 6-3.

Troy Percival gave the Marlins a chance in the ninth as he walked the bases loaded. Longoria made a diving stop on Josh Willingham's ground ball to third, getting the out at second and allowing a run to score to cut the lead to 6-4. After a Dan Uggla walk re-loaded the bases, Percival got a groundout for his 18th save of the season.
