'S-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, June 19 (UPI) -- Mario Ancic and Arnaud Clement, who between them won four of the last six Ordina Open titles, both lost Thursday in quarterfinal play in the Netherlands.

Ancic, seeded sixth, took a 12-match Ordina winning streak into the quarterfinals, having won the event in 2005 and 2006 but not playing last year. But Thursday top-seeded David Ferrer claimed a straight-set win 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) over Ancic.

Clement won at Ordina Open in 2002 and 2003 but dropped a 2-6, 6-3, 6-1 decision to Juan Martin Del Porto.

Ferrer and Del Porto are paired against each other in Friday's semifinals.

The other semifinal has seventh-seeded Guillermo Canas going against Marc Gicquel. Both players won quarterfinals in straight sets with Canas beating Viktor Troicki, 6-2, 6-2, and Gicquel taking out Jurgen Melzer, 6-3, 6-4.
