MLB: Tampa Bay 7, Florida 3

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 13 (UPI) -- Eric Hinske and Dioner Navarro drove in two runs each Friday and the Tampa Bay Rays got an outstanding effort from their bullpen in downing Florida 7-3.

Hinske quickly brought the Rays back from a two-run, first-inning deficit with a two-run double. Gabe Gross put Tampa Bay in front for good in the second with an RBI double and he scored later in the inning on a ground out by Akinori Iwamura.

Andy Sonnanstine (7-3) picked up the win, allowing three runs on six hits in 5 1/3 innings. J.P. Howell, Dan Wheeler and Troy Percival combined for 3 2/3 innings of one-hit relief.

Percival, who came off the 15-day disabled list prior to the game, worked a perfect ninth in a non-save situation.

Ryan Tucker (1-1), making the second start of his major league career, gave up five runs on seven hits in five innings to take the loss.
