MLB: Toronto 3, Seattle 1

TORONTO, June 10 (UPI) -- Dustin McGowan pitched a complete game, five-hitter Tuesday, pacing the Toronto Blue Jays' 3-1 victory over the Seattle Mariners.

McGowan (5-4) allowed only a fifth-inning home run by Jeremy Reed. He struck out seven and walked two.

Brad Wilkerson and Vernon Wells both hit home runs for Toronto and Scott Rolen drove in the Blue Jays' third run.

Carlos Silva (3-7) gave up three runs on nine hits over seven innings for Seattle, which has lost seven of its last nine games.
