BALTIMORE, June 8 (UPI) -- Marco Scutaro's sixth-inning sacrifice fly Sunday helped Toronto edge the Baltimore Orioles 5-4.
His game-winning RBI capped a three-run rally.
The veteran second baseman also hit an RBI single in the bottom of the second.
Vernon Wells and Rod Barajas drove in one run each, with Wells belting a solo homer in the rally, one of his three hits. Barajas had two hits for the Blue Jays, who avoided a three-game sweep by snapping their four-game losing streak.
Winner Roy Halladay (8-5) gave up four earned runs and eight hits in 7 2/3 inning with no walks and seven strikeouts.
Closer B.J. Ryan, a former Oriole, recorded his 13th save.
Baltimore's Luke Scott hit a solo homer in the second and a two-run shot in the sixth. Melvin Mora had one RBI, while Brian Roberts added three hits for the Orioles, who had won three in a row.
The losing pitcher was reliever Matt Albers (3-2).
