MLB: San Francisco 6, Washington 3

WASHINGTON, June 8 (UPI) -- John Bowker raised his RBI total this weekend to seven with a two-run homer that helped San Francisco beat Washington 6-3.

His biggest in the four-game series was his first career grand slam in Saturday's 6-0 victory.

Randy Winn had two hits and two RBI Sunday, while Aaron Rowand had two hits and one RBI, Jose Castillo added an RBI and Ray Durham finished 4-for-5 for the Giants.

Winner Barry Zito (2-9) allowed three earned runs on seven hits in five innings as San Francisco won its third in a row and five of seven.

Closer Brian Wilson earned his 17th save.

Washington's Lastings Milledge hit a solo homer and an RBI single. Wil Nieves had one RBI and two others had two hits for the Nationals, who have lost 10 of 13.

Losing pitcher Garrett Mock (0-1), making his major league debut, yielded four earned runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings. He walked the first three batters in the fifth.
