On offense, three players had one RBI, including Geoff Jenkins, who belted a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth.

Two fifth inning runs scored on two of Cincinnati's three errors, and the Phillies managed only five hits while closing a 10-game home-stand with an 8-2 record.

The Reds got one hit from three players in the third loss in their last four games.

Losing pitcher Homer Bailey (0-1), recalled from Triple-A Louisville before the contest, was charged with five runs -- four earned -- and four hits in 6 1/3 innings.
