MINNEAPOLIS, June 4 (UPI) -- Jason Kubel tripled in the tying run in the sixth and produced the go-ahead score moments later in the Minnesota Twins' 7-5 comeback victory over Baltimore.
The Twins rallied from a 5-2 deficit to win for the third time in four games.
Minnesota closed within 5-4 in the fifth when Joe Mauer pulled off the rare feat of driving in two runs with a sacrifice fly. Although Adam Jones caught Mauer's drive in deep center, he slipped after making the catch, allowing the speedy Carlos Gomez to score all the way from second.
Starter Daniel Cabrera (5-2) took the loss, allowing six runs on eight hits over six innings. Baltimore has lost five out of seven.
