MLB: Philadelphia 7, Florida 5

PHILADELPHIA, June 1 (UPI) -- Pat Burrell and Geoff Jenkins both had two-run hits Sunday to boost the Philadelphia Phillies past the Florida Marlins 7-5.

Burrell's two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning, his only hit after two earlier walks, snapped a 5-5 tie. Jenkins, a pinch-hitter in the sixth, hit a two-run homer to create the tie.

Chase Utley hit a solo homer, his 20th this season, in the third. Sane Victorino extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a seventh inning single for the Phillies, who regained first place in the National League East with their second win in the three-game series.

The winner was Jamie Moyer (6-3) and closer Brad Lidge earned his 13th save.

Florida got two homers from Mike Jacobs, a solo shot in the second and a three-run blast in the third.

Jorge Cantu had two hits and one RBI, and Hanley Ramirez added two hits for the Marlins, who have dropped four of five.

The losing pitcher was Doug Waechter (0-1).
