MILWAUKEE, June 1 (UPI) -- Dave Bush gave up just one earned run on four hits in seven innings Sunday when Milwaukee finished a three-game sweep with a 10-1 rout of the Houston Astros.
His job was made much easier when the Brewers stretched a 4-1 lead by scoring six times in the bottom of the fourth.
Bush (2-5) did not walk a batter and struck out five before Julian Tavarez and Mark DiFelice finished up. At one point, Bush retired 11 straight batters,
Milwaukee's Ryan Braun and Russell Branyan hit two-run homers. Both Gabe Kapler and Craig Counsell had two hits and two RBI. Mike Rivera had two hits and one RBI, while Corey Hart added one RBI for the Brewers, who have won six of seven.
Houston's lone run came on a solo homer by Mark Loretta in the top of the first.
Michael Bourn had two of the five hits for the Astros, who have lost five in a row.
The losing pitcher was starter Shawn Chacon (2-1).
