MLB: Toronto 7, Kansas City 2

TORONTO, May 26 (UPI) -- Gregg Zaun and Marco Scutaro each homered Monday to power the Toronto Blue Jays to a 7-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals.

Zaun hit a two-run homer and Scutaro added a solo shot for the Blue Jays, who have won five straight games. Alex Rios added two hits, including a two-run double.

Winning pitcher Shaun Marcum (5-3) gave up two runs -- one earned -- on five hits in 7 1/3 innings. Jesse Carlson and Jason Frasor had 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Mark Teahen and Miguel Olivo each drove in a run for the Royals, who have lost eight straight Loser Brett Tomko (2-6) allowed seven runs on eight hits in six innings.
