MLB: Milwaukee 5, Washington 2

WASHINGTON, May 24 (UPI) -- Corey Hart's two-run fourth-inning homer Saturday helped the Milwaukee Brewers record a 5-2 victory at Washington.

Hart's fifth home run this season came with two outs and gave Milwaukee a 3-0 lead.

Jason Kendall had two hits and one RBI. Mike Cameron and Ricky Weeks also had one RBI each while Cameron, who hit a lead-off homer in the eighth, had two hits for the Brewers, who had lost seven of nine.

Third baseman Bill Hall overcame two potentially costly errors in the bottom of the ninth.

Winner Seth McClung (2-1) gave up two earned runs and four hits in five innings in his first start since June 2006 when he pitched for Tampa Bay.

Salomon Torres earned his second save.

Washington got a solo homer from Lastings Milledge and Wil Nieves' RBI double, both in the fifth.

Milledge and Elijah Dukes had two hits each for the Nationals, who have dropped three of four.

The losing pitcher was starter John Lannan (4-5).
