HOUSTON, May 24 (UPI) -- Pinch-hitter Mark Loretta's RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning Saturday gave the Houston Astros a 4-3 victory over Philadelphia.
Loretta, batting for winning pitcher Brian Moehler, snapped a 3-3 tie with his 12th RBI this season.
Carlos Lee had two hits and three RBI while three others had two hits apiece for the Astros, who have won four of their last five contests.
Moehler (2-1) yielded three runs -- two earned -- and four hits in six innings.
After three relievers hurled two scoreless innings, Doug Brocail captured his second save despite giving up two hits in the top of the ninth.
Philadelphia's Ryan Howard had three RBI on a run-scoring double in the first and a two-run homer in the third. Five players added one hit each for the Phillies, who have lost two straight after a three-game sweep in Washington.
