PITTSBURGH, May 21 (UPI) -- Milwaukee left-hander Manny Parra ended a personal seven-game winless streak Tuesday, hurling 5 2/3 scoreless innings in a 7-2 Brewers win over Pittsburgh.
The Brewers backed Parra with a 14-hit barrage that ended their five-game losing skein.

Parra (2-2) limited the Pirates to four hits and a walk, while striking out six batters.
Relievers Seth McLung and Guillermo Mota followed Parra with 2 1/3 combined innings of hitless relief. Eric Gagne ruined the shutout bid by surrendering a two-run homer to Jason Bay in the ninth.
Mike Cameron went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer. Corey Hart added a solo.
Pittsburgh's Paul Maholm (2-5) took the loss, giving up four runs on nine hits and two walks through 6 1/3 innings.
